Product description
Manufactured from mild steel to ASTM A36 / EN 10025 (S275) with hot-dip galvanizing per ISO 1461 / ASTM A123. Typical section is rectangular hollow section (RHS) such as 75 × 50 × 3 mm as shown on approved drawings. All cutting, drilling, and welding is completed before galvanizing; welds are continuous per AWS D1.1 with sharp edges rounded.
Connections are bolted and/or welded with hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel fasteners, minimum grade 8.8. Maximum allowable deflection is L/300. Members must be installed plumb, level, and aligned with the primary structure within ±2 mm. Damaged galvanizing on site should be touched up with zinc-rich paint (≥90% Zn).
Ideal as the secondary beam in L1/L2 GI frame assemblies for solar arrays and architectural steel support work.
