Product description
Manufactured from aluminium alloy 6063-T6 to ASTM B221 / EN 573 / EN 755 with minimum yield strength of 215 MPa. Typical section is rectangular or box section, commonly 75 × 50 × 3 mm as per approved drawings. Maximum allowable deflection is L/300.
Shop-fabricated from extruded aluminium sections with precise cutting and drilling. All edges are smooth, rounded, and free of burrs. TIG welding per AWS D1.2 is applied where required. Members are free from cracks, dents, twists, or surface defects.
Fixed to L1 or P-members using bolted or welded connections as detailed. Fasteners are stainless steel SS304 / SS316 with neoprene or isolation pads between dissimilar metals.
Surface finish is powder coating (minimum 60-80 microns, polyester based) or anodizing (minimum 20-25 microns), UV-stable and corrosion-resistant, colour and texture as approved by the architect.
Install plumb, level, and aligned with the primary structure within ±2 mm fixing tolerance. Remove protective films after completion.
