1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using Smart Energy Marketplace (smartenergy.pk), including browsing products, requesting quotes, creating an account, or listing as a seller, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. About Smart Energy

Smart Energy operates an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers of solar products, smart home automation devices, related equipment, and professional energy services in Pakistan. Smart Energy is a platform provider. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we do not manufacture, stock, install, or fulfil every listing ourselves.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate registration and contact details.
• You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the platform, submit false information, or breach these terms.

4. Buyer responsibilities

• Product details, prices, availability, warranties, and lead times shown on listings are provided by sellers and may change.
• Before purchase or installation, confirm specifications, site suitability, and service scope directly with the seller.
• Quote requests and messages must be genuine. Spam, misuse, or fraudulent enquiries are not allowed.

5. Seller responsibilities

• Sellers must list products and services accurately, including pricing, brands, specifications, and location coverage.
• Sellers are responsible for fulfilment, installation quality (where offered), warranty support, and after-sales communication.
• Sellers must comply with applicable Pakistani laws, tax rules, and consumer protection requirements.
• Misleading claims, counterfeit goods, or abusive conduct may result in listing removal or account suspension.

6. Quotes, orders, and payments

Requests for quotes, comparisons, and communications on the marketplace help buyers evaluate options. Unless a payment is processed directly through Smart Energy and confirmed in writing, commercial terms (price, deposit, delivery, installation, and warranty) are agreed between buyer and seller. Smart Energy is not a party to every private sale or service contract arranged through the platform.

7. Content and intellectual property

Site design, branding, software, and original Smart Energy content remain our property or that of our licensors. Product images and descriptions may belong to sellers or brands. You may not copy, scrape, or republish marketplace content for commercial use without permission.

8. Reviews and feedback

Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Fake, paid, defamatory, or abusive reviews may be removed. We may moderate feedback to keep the marketplace useful and fair.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smart Energy is not liable for seller performance, product defects, installation outcomes, downtime, or indirect losses arising from use of the marketplace. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Pakistan law.

10. Platform changes

We may update features, fees, listing rules, or these terms as the marketplace evolves. Continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised date.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes shall first be addressed in good faith. Where formal proceedings are required, courts in Faisalabad, Pakistan shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
